MY 2021 Maintenance Intervals Gas and Hybrid Models – USA
NOTE: The intervals shown in this table are based on vehicles operating under normal conditions. In case of severe conditions, such as extremely low temperatures, excessive dust, etc., it is necessary for certain operations to be carried out in between the given intervals. This applies particularly to engine oil changes and the cleaning or replacing of the air cleaner filter element.

- Rotate Tires (Applies to models with same size front and rear tires and wheels)

Minor Maintenance
- Brake system - Check the thickness of the brake pads
- Engine oil and oil filter - Change oil and replace filter
- Multi-point inspection - Complete
- Service reminder indicator display - Reset display
- Tire repair kit - Check and record the completeness and expiration date (if equipped)
Standard Maintenance (Includes All Minor Maintenance Items)
- Body/chassis - Visually inspect for possible paint damage and corrosion, from the inside and outside, with the doors as well as hood and trunk lids open
- Brake system - Check for damage and leaks, condition of brake hoses and the presence of the bleeder caps; Check the thickness of the brake pads
- Charging cable - Check for damage (if present in vehicle during inspection) (Only: A7 55 TFSI e, A8 L 60 TFSI e, and Q5 55 TFSI e)
- Charging socket - Check for contamination and damage (Only: A7 55 TFSI e, A8 L 60 TFSI e, and Q5 55 TFSI e)
- Connected box battery (for Audi Connected Services) - Check state of health with Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in Guided Functions: (Only: A4 [all models], A5 [all models], A6 [all models], A7 [all models], A8 L [all models], Q5 [all models], Q7 [all models], Q8 [all models])
- Convertible top - Lubricate latch mechanism (Only: A5 45 TFSI Cabriolet, S5 Cabriolet)
- Door hinges (including door stay) and door latch - Lubricate
- High voltage cooling system - Check coolant level according to procedure in ElsaPro NOTE: For high-voltage electrical components (Only: A7 55 TFSI e, A8 L 60 TFSI e, Q5 55 TFSI e)
- Engine cooling system - Check freeze protection and coolant level
- Engine oil and oil filter - Change oil and replace filter
- Engine, transmission, final drive, steering (with front noise insulation removed) - Visual inspection for leaks and damage (including visible HV components of PHEV vehicles)
- Exterior lighting function - Check front and rear lights, high beams, low beams, turn signals, cornering lights, brake lights, reverse lights, license plate lights, fog lights, and hazard warning lights

- First aid kit (if equipped) - Check and enter expiration date YYYY / MM _________
- Front flap lock - Lubricate (Only: R8 Coupe, R8 Spyder)
- Fuel tank flap system - Check the water drain according to ElsaPro (Only: R8 Coupe, R8 Spyder)
- Headlights - Check adjustment
- High voltage system maintenance connector - Check for damages (deformation, scratches) and connector is clean (Only: PHEV Plug-in Hybrids, Q5 TFSI e, A7 TFSI e, A8 TFSI e)
- Hood safety catch – Lubricate (Only: R8 Coupe, R8 Spyder)
- Horn - Check function
- Instrument cluster - Check warning and indicator lights
- Interior lights - Check all interior lights, trunk lights, and glove box compartment illumination
- Multi-point inspection - Complete
- Oil fill Area - Check water drain according to ElsaPro (Only: R8 Coupe, R8 Spyder)
- Plenum chamber and water drain valves: Check for dirt. (Only: A6 [all models], A7 [all models], A8 L [all models], Q7 [all models], and Q8 [all models]) NOTE: Time spent cleaning of item is a separate charge for service time
- Road test - Perform
- Rollover protection - Check the rollover protection when the convertible top is open (Only: R8 Spyder)
- Safety belts - Check function and condition of belt, belt tongue, and latch
- Service reminder indicator display - Reset display
- Spare tire (if equipped) - Check condition and tire inflation pressure, adjust if necessary
- Spoiler - Lubricate rear spoiler according to procedure in ElsaPro. (Only: TT, TTS, and TT RS models [if equipped])
- Sunroof and panoramic sunroof systems - Check function (if equipped)
- Suspension and axle components (front and rear) - Check dust seals on ball joints and tie rod ends, check for excessive play
- Tires - Check condition and tire tread wear. Check and record the tread depth
- Tires - Check tire inflation pressure and adjust if necessary
- Tire repair kit (if equipped) - Check and record the completeness and expiration date
- Underbody - Check for damage and leaks, check the wheel well liners, underbody paneling and all lines are properly mounted (including visible HV components of PHEV vehicles)
- Warning triangle and first aid kit (if equipped) - Check if present
- Windshield washer and headlight washing system - Add fluid if necessary. Check adjustment and function
- Wiper blades - Check condition and replace if necessary
